Celebrating Success: Blood Donation Event Recap

Updated: Jul 10, 2024

Children’s Smile Association and the National Blood Transfusion Center (CNTS) are thrilled to announce the outstanding success of our recent blood donation event, held on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at the CNTS headquarters.

We are delighted to share that over 150 compassionate individuals came forward to donate blood during this event. Their selfless contributions have resulted in the collection of 146 units of life-saving blood. This remarkable achievement ensures a robust blood supply to meet critical medical needs, particularly during the fasting period.

Participants not only generously donated blood but also underwent thorough health screenings including blood group determination, electrophoresis, STI, and HIV tests. These efforts underscore our commitment to promoting both immediate medical assistance and long-term health awareness within our community.

In recognition of their invaluable contributions, each donor received a donor card in collaboration with CNTS. This card provides priority access during future critical situations, highlighting the lasting impact of their generosity.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the over 150 individuals who participated in this event, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to saving lives. Your compassion and dedication exemplify the spirit of community and solidarity that defines Children’s Smile and the CNTS.

As we celebrate this tremendous success, we look forward to continuing our mission of making a positive impact in the lives of those in need. Stay tuned for more opportunities to join us in creating a healthier and stronger community together.

Thank you once again for your remarkable support and for being the driving force behind our success!
