N'KÔNÔNA KO Project

Welcome to N'kônôna Ko, a visionary project launched in January 2025 to prevent youth radicalization to violent extremism through Mental Health Support and professional training for Children and youth in street situations in Ouagadougou. Our mission is to help these vulnerable children heal from trauma and build resilience through engaging ludo-educative activities like sports and art, followed by professional counseling. We provide those kids and youth in street situation in Ouagadougou with the opportunity to learn and grow.

Achievements

Children's Smile offers educational, financial, and emotional support to children from disadvantaged, including those in street situations, orphans affected by terrorism, and others. Since its official launch in 2020, Children's Smile has directly impacted the lives of over 3000 through small-scale projects implemented between 2020 and 2022.

ISEED

Initiative for supporting the education of underprivileged children - ISEED is an educational program designed for underprivileged children who are able to participate in the traditional national education program. We believe that education is the gateway to a better future for children.

The N'kônôna Ko program aims to provide support to children who are living on the streets helping them to reconnect with their childhood and overcome the trauma of their experiences with independence and street violence.

"Operation I'm Cold" is a twice-yearly initiative by Children's Smile that collects clothes and shoes to provide warm clothing and comfortable footwear for children living on the streets during the rainy and cold seasons.
